What We Collect
Account information: Your name, email address, and password (stored securely using one-way encryption) when you create an account.
Payment information: Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your credit card number.
Usage data: The websites and keywords you add to RankTrack, along with the ranking data we collect for them.
Technical data: Standard web server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited. This helps us keep the Service running and fix problems.
How We Use Your Data
- To provide the rank tracking service you signed up for
- To send you ranking reports and alerts (which you can turn off)
- To process your payments
- To respond to your support enquiries
- To improve the Service
What We Don't Do
- We don't sell your data to anyone. Ever.
- We don't share your ranking data with other users or third parties
- We don't use your data for advertising
- We don't send marketing emails unless you've opted in
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers. We use encryption for data in transit (HTTPS everywhere) and follow industry best practices for data security. Passwords are hashed using modern one-way encryption — even we can't read them.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Stripe — for payment processing (their privacy policy)
- Google reCAPTCHA — to prevent automated abuse (their privacy policy)
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We don't use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
Your Rights
You can:
- Access your data at any time through your dashboard
- Export your data using our CSV download feature
- Delete your account and all associated data by contacting us
- Update your personal information in your account settings
Australian Privacy Act
We comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988. If you have a complaint about how we handle your personal information, contact us first and we'll do our best to resolve it. If you're not satisfied, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

If we make changes to this policy, we'll update it here and let you know via email if the changes are significant.
